Now the first vampire sighting story isn't actually about the vampires you see in movies but its very interesting to read and think about nonetheless.
In GeorgeTown Guyana, a 55 year old woman named Radika Singh was beaten to death by people that believed she was a "Old Higue". Higue's are actual evil spirits that take on the form of old woman and drink the blood of babies. And apparently they are a big problem in Guyana. The stories of Higue's have been around for awhile and it is believed that these Higue's exist all over the world.

The 2nd vampire sighting is actual in the world of politics. A man Jonathon Sharkey claims to be a direct descendant of Vlad the Impaler. He wants to run for president in 2012 and become the first 'vampire president'.

The 3rd vampire sighting is actually multiple vampire sightings in the same area; Otero County. According to the story since last September Alamogordo of the border patrol has received over a dozen reports from illegal immigrants who claim to have encountered vampires. The people who gave these reports were incredibly frightened. One man watched two of his friends being dragged away by vampires.

The 4th vampire sighting happened in Seattle a few days before the 2010 New Year. A woman and her friends decided to go out and enjoy the Seattle nightlife. After hours of walking and visiting other bars they ended up at a bar in Belltown. The woman was enjoying drinks with her girlfriends when a mysterious man on her left side spoke to her. At first she couldn't hear what he said, the sounds of the bar drowned out his voice. The woman turned around to look at the man and noticed that he had an incredibly piercing stare. He spoke to her once more but she still couldn't make out what he said. But once the man touched her shoulder it was like all the other sounds of the bar drifted away.
When the man spoke again she could clearly hear him. He asked her name and about her friends. After some casual conversation he told her that he was a vampire. Of course the woman didn't believe him so he showed her his teeth or rather his fangs. According to the woman his teeth were shiny and had elongated canines. Naturally the woman still didn't believe him, he offered to bite her to prove it to her but she said no. Then he proceeded to tell her the details of her life, like where she lived, what she did for a living, details about her family. The woman panicked and left the bar with her friends, still unsure if he was a vampire or something else.

The 5th vampire sighting occurred in Hockerill, England in 2007. According to the story a 43 year old man was taking out the trash when he was attacked from behind by someone who tried to wrap their teeth around the man's neck and bite down.
